1. Who we are
RF Studio Labs operates rfstudiolabs.com, a free collection of browser-based RF engineering calculators and reference tools. We are based in India. Contact: admin@rfstudiolabs.com
2. What data we collect
We do not collect any personal information directly. All calculators run entirely in your browser — no calculation inputs or results are ever sent to our servers.
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to collect anonymous usage statistics including: pages visited, time on page, country/region, browser type and device type. This data is aggregated and cannot identify you personally.
If you use Google AdSense advertising (where present), Google may set cookies to serve relevant ads. See Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
3. Cookies
We use the following cookies:
- Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _gid, _gat) — anonymous usage tracking. These expire after 2 years, 24 hours, and 1 minute respectively.
- Google AdSense cookies — used to show relevant advertisements where ads are displayed.
You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time. This will not affect the functionality of any calculator on this site.
4. Third-party services
We use the following third-party services:
- Google Analytics 4 — anonymous traffic analytics
- Google AdSense — advertising (where displayed)
- Netlify — website hosting
- Cloudflare CDN — Chart.js library delivery
5. Files you upload
The S-parameter plotter allows you to upload Touchstone files (.s2p, .s7p, etc.). These files are processed entirely in your browser using JavaScript. They are never uploaded to our servers and we never see their contents.
6. Data retention
We retain Google Analytics data for 14 months (the GA4 default). We do not store any other user data.
7. Your rights
Under GDPR and applicable Indian data protection law, you have the right to access, correct or delete any personal data we hold about you. Since we hold no personally identifiable data, there is typically nothing to access or delete. For any privacy concerns, contact admin@rfstudiolabs.com.
8. Children
This site is intended for professional and student engineers. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
